Review Policy

I enjoy reviewing books for publishers and authors, so please consider me for your new book!

 

The genres I particularly like to read are literary and modern fiction, but also chick-lit, thrillers, historical fiction, humor and some science fiction. I also enjoy reading memoirs about special (not famous!) people and some other non-fiction. On my Reviews tab you can view the list of books that I have reviewed on this blog.

I’m not interested in books which are heavy on politics, religion, spirituality, or philosophy, children’s books (except some dystopian YA), paranormal novels or romances. I’m not a keen short story reader either. Sorry, I don’t accept e-books. Also for postage purposes, please note that I live in the Netherlands.

I aim to review a book as close to the publication date as possible. Reviews can be positive or negative. I review all books I receive except for unsolicited books if they do not appeal. I sometimes abandon a book that I have lost interest in but will still write a (fair) review of it.

I always place my reviews on amazon, goodreads, and shelfari.
