Back of the Book Competition – Week 23

Back of Book CompetitionIt’s time for the Back of the Book Competition! In this competition, I show you the back cover of a book each week, and you need to guess which book it is. There are prizes to be won, and the more often you participate, the more chances you have to win.

This is already week 23! Since the competition is planned to run until June 30th, that means there’s only 3 more weeks after this week! We’re nearing the end.

So, if you have wanted to enter a picture but still haven’t, now really is the time to get a move on!

About this week’s book:

This week’s book was sent in by Boof of The Book Whisperer. She’s known for her thriller and mystery reviews, but actually reads a lot of other books as well, especially contemporary fiction. Have a look, her blog is beautiful!

Boof about the book: A female detective is sent on the undercover mission of her life to persuade a group of college friends that their housemate isn’t where they thought she was.

Which book is this?

  • Girl Missing by Tess Gerritsen
  • Now You See Me by S J Bolton
  • The Missing by Jane Casey
  • The Likeness by Tana French

To enter, fill out the FORM!

Anyone can enter and you can start joining the competition at any moment. The form will be valid until the next post of the Back of the Book competition is up.

About this week’s book:

The cover was sent in by Cindy from The Only Cin. She’s from South-Africa and she’s an editor. That means she gets to see a lot of books, but she doesn’t have much time to read for pleasure. Her biggest passion is food, and she writes about that on her blog (every day!).

About this week’s book:

The cover was sent in by Parrish Lantern. He’s from England and his blog is full of books: a lot of literary books and some poetry. His blog’s motto is: “A Book, a Glass of Good Malt Whisky, and Music, Constitute a Meeting of Constellations, a Consensus of Neurons – Blazing with Pleasure! “

This weeks’s cover is a little difficult – the picture is blurred (but still legible, if you click on it to make it bigger). Also, the book is maybe not so well known… It’s about murder, stories, and a beautiful island.
