Weekly Reading Roundup

The week

Who cares what happened last week? I don’t remember. I’m on holiday now. 🙂

Ok, well, the highlight was probably the book group evening where we welcomed a new member who some of you may know: Ciska of Ciska’s Book Chest. She is a pleasant addition to our group of crazies (I hope we didn’t scare her off). I also took part in ArmchairBEA (see my earlier posts).

So, holiday… I’m in Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands to the West of North Africa (Spanish territory). On my own in a nice hotel. The hotel is so big I had to ask where the pool was . 🙂

I’m going to be brief with this weekly report, pictures rather than words. Have a great week!

Thanks Shelleyrae. Yes the weather is nice and I’m in the middle of a good book. Have really only drunk coffee and bottled water so far …

Thanks, Bettina. I’m almost ready to start Prime Numbers, just a small book (700 pages) in between. 🙂 I took too many books on holiday, what’s new?

  4. mpartyka says:

WOW – yeah you! Sounds like a lovely destination. I’m sure you will find time to relax, enjoy and… read. I tend to read so much on vacation (having the time).

    • Leeswammes says:

I’m reading a lot, Mari, but will definitely not get through the pile I took with me – you know, the standard set plus the just-in-case-I-run-out books.

  5. Enjoy your holiday, Judith. And try to bring some sunshine back with you. 🙂

Enjoy your holiday! I’ve heard amazing things about the Canary Islands! I hope to visit there myself someday. Hope you share some highlights about your holiday.

    • Leeswammes says:

It’s very beautiful here, Melissa. I’m doing an organised tour of the island tomorrow, so I hope to see much more. It is a small but very varied island.
