Literary Giveaway Blog Hop

Welcome!

Welcome to the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop!

The Literary Giveaway Blog Hop is hosted by me, Leeswammes. Between now and Wednesday, June 27th, you can hop to over 60 different book blogs, all offering one or more giveaways of books or bookish items. All books will be literary (non)fiction or something close to that. Follow the links at the bottom of this post to find the other participating blogs.

My Giveaway

State of Wonder by Ann Patchett

As part of the blog hop I will be giving away State of Wonder by Ann Patchett, which is one of my

favorite The Reconstructionist by Nick Arvinreads from last year ánd this (yes, I re-read it!). Check my review HERE. Entries are open worldwide where the Book Depository delivers.

In this book, a female scientist from the USA goes to the Amazonian jungle to find out details of how her colleague died. Not a mystery, but it’s a mysterious story.

For other entrants (non-Book Depository), I have a different book, The Reconstructionist by Nick Arvin. Note that you cannot win that book if the Book Depository delivers to your country. If the winner is from a Bookdepository country, they will get State of Wonder and if you’re from another country you will receive my gently read copy of The Reconstructionist, which I will send out to you myself.

DESCRIPTION OF RECONSTR…

To enter, please read the rules and then fill in the form below.

The rules:

  1. Anyone can enter. You do not need to have a blog.
  2. There will be one winner, who will get one of the above books based on whether the book depository delivers to their country or not.
  3. You need a post-office recognised address anywhere in the world, where you can receive packages.
  4. You do not have to be a follower or become a follower, although if you like my blog I hope you will! You can follow by email or by RSS (see buttons in the side bar on the right).
  5. Fill out the form below.
  6. You can enter the giveaway until Wednesday June 27th. I will close the giveaway when I turn on my computer on June 28th (Netherlands time).
  7. Note that double or invalid entries will be removed.
  8. I will notify the winner by email. The winner needs to answer my email within 3 days, or I’ll announce a new winner.
  9. That’s it! Good luck and thanks for playing.

Fill out the FORM HERE to enter.

The giveaway is now closed

    13 – Toshio Nakae

    My poems are
    almost stolen from you;
    stolen from the sun,
    stolen from the wind,
    stolen from the ground,
    stolen from the sea.

I have stolen from your poems, too,
    Earthlings;
    from your streets,
    from your rooms,
and, above all, I take something from your body and mind
    and share it.

    If possible,
I’d like you, too, to steal me,
    steal my life
which belongs no one knows to whom.
No one can privatize either our body or our heart,
    because we are common property!

    Even words cannot be privatized
    nor are they private possessions.
All sorts of things are the common property
of hundreds of millions of stars,
    although you think
    you are on your own.
