Welcome to the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop!

The Literary Giveaway Blog Hop is hosted by me, Leeswammes. Between now and Wednesday February 12th, you can hop to more than 40 different book blogs, all offering one or more giveaways of books or bookish items. All books will be literary (non)fiction or something close to that. Follow the links at the bottom of this post to find the other participating blogs.

A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley Cash. A dodgy church holds a healing session for a boy. But things go wrong. 5 stars

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Access to a lot of money is hidden within a large computer system. An 18-year old boy who spends most of his time online tries to find clues to where the money is. 5 stars

The First Book of Calamity Leek by Paula Lichtarowicz. Brilliant but strange story about a girl who lives in a kind of farm with her 12 “sisters”. Outside the wall are injuns and demonmales. It takes a long time before you know what’s going on. Is this historical or modern fiction, fantasy or post-apocalyptic SF? You need to read it to find out. 5 stars.

The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling. A death in the parish council leaves a small town in search for a new candidate. Many people get involved. 5 stars
